Liz’s practice is focused on complex litigation with an emphasis on construction defect, property damage, and other insurance defense work. She has represented developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in matters before the Superior Courts and various arbitration services throughout Washington and Oregon. She has also been involved in a variety of other litigation including personal injury, subrogation, property damage, and land use matters.
Liz is a partner with the firm and heads up the Oregon office. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and Professional Education Programming Chair for the Portland chapter, as well as a frequent speaker to construction and insurance groups. She graduated with honors with BS in Civil Engineering and worked with the Central Puget Sound Growth Management Board. Her background as an engineer enhances her ability to work with client and experts on technical matters. Liz also routinely represents contractors and other business entities in contract drafting and enforcement, litigated and alternative dispute resolution, and strategic planning matters.
